Medical Database Options

Catapult AMS allows injuries and illnesses to be recorded using two different databases; the Orchard Sports Injury Classification System (OSICS) and the 10th revision of the International Statistical Classification of Diseases and Related Health Problems (ICD-10).

When setting up your account we can activate the following options to one or both of the databases. By default new teams will have the OSICS database as non-mandatory fields.

• Enabled - This simply means the medical database will be activated on your account and the fields will not be mandatory to complete when completing an injury/illness
• Mandatory - If you require the enabled database to be completed before you save the injury/illness we can activate this feature
• View Only - This is applicable for those transferring from one database to another. This means the database will not be present on new injuries/illnesses but the fields will be able to be viewed on old submissions that used that database to classify and code the injury/illness
