Event templates are necessary to link the event to different areas of the platform. When creating templates, you are required to select a template 'code'. Depending on the template code, different options appear when creating an event. There are six to choose from, including:
- 'Workout/Training Session' will provide the option of attaching a training plan to the event.
- 'Test' provides a link directly to test capture in the event details.
- 'Wellness' provides a link directly to wellness capture.
- 'S&C Program' will provide the option to attach an S&C program to the event.
- 'General' coded template is a basic display.
- 'Game / Match' identifies an event as a competition.
Add an Event Template:
To add an event template navigate to Administration - Configuration - Event Templates
In the top right-hand corner of the screen, select ‘Create Template’.
Fill in a title. Select a template code from the drop-down menu. The code will automatically set to 'General' if not specified otherwise.
Select ‘Create Template’ in the lower right-hand corner of the screen.
When adding an event to your calendar this is where the event template will be relevant:
General Template: This is the most common template for event. This allows you to simply create the event and does not link to any other areas of the platform.
Test Template: Provides a link to a test of your Catapult AMS platform. Members viewing this event will have a quick hyperlink to complete this test.
Wellness Template: Much like the test template this will prompt users to complete their wellness. When viewing the event members will have a link to complete their wellness.
Game/Match: This is only used to ensure fixtures you create in Seasons, Phases and Fixtures automatically populate into the calendar once created. Any pre game notes and post game notes will also automatically link to this event.
Workout/Training Session: This will link to training sessions that have been created via Coaching - Training Sessions. When creating the event you will have the option to display the training sessions straight away or after a certain time.
S&C Program: Any programs created in Strength and Conditioning will populate into the calendar and have a link to the specific workout.
