Link OpenField/GPSports Account

The API/Integration of the Openfield and GPSports Cloud data into the Catapult AMS platform, is the first of many steps that Catapult are taking to improve the efficiency of the workflow surrounding these products in sporting organisations around the globe.

The API works through the user conducting a One-Time Player Mapping to align the products. This allows for the ongoing synchronisation of OpenField and/or GPSports Cloud data to the Catapult AMS team whenever the sync is run on Console.

How to link your account

Before you link an account please ensure you have all your players in the system as we will need to link the AMS player to the GPS player.

Navigate to Administration - Configuration - OpenField/GPSports Cloud

This will then open this page:

Step One - Account:

Please select whether you are connecting OpenField or GPSports Cloud.

Select the region (check which URL you log into the wearable cloud if you are unsure).

Input your OpenField/GPSports username and password then select next.

Step Two - Team Mapping:

This will now ask you to select which wearable team (from the left) you would like to connect to the AMS team on the right.

Click Next once complete.

Step Three - Athlete Mapping:

Match the wearable athlete (left) to the AMS member on the right.

Click Next once complete.

Step Four - Permissions:

Select all the roles you wish to have access to wearable data.

Click Next once complete.

Step Five - Complete:

You should receive this message and have a link to view your data. Please note that historical data will take a while to sync across to your Catapult AMS platform.
