When you open a report you will first be provided with the following fields:
- Report Title: This will appear as shown below.
Simply click into this cell to name your report. Once you name the report the border surrounding 'untitled report' will disappear. You are able to rename the report at any time should you have edit permissions.
- Select users and groups: By default All Team will be selected.
Simply by clicking into this field all your groups and players will show. You will also notice that each group and the all team options have three different options. Group, Group (average) or Group (sum).
You can add a group by clicking on them via the drop down list. To remove a user or group click on the X in the right hand side of the user/group box. Once you are in the right position the mouse icon will change from an arrow to a hand to indicate you can delete.
The users/groups you select here will be selected automatically when you create a chart. This will be explained in the Reporting - Add Chart guide.
- Select Date Range: By default Dynamic will be selected.
Here you have the option to select fixed or dynamic. If you toggle between selected fixed or dynamic you will notice the date selectors below will also change.
A fixed date range allows you to either select from a number of preset ranges or input start and end dates. This type of range would be used if you want to report on a fixed period of such time as a year or season.
A dynamic date range allows you to select From a present point and then determine how many days, weeks, months, quarters or years you want to pull this data from.
If you select from today and -150 days before every time you produce this report the date range will automatically update to the current date and pull data from the last 150 days prior.
The date range you select here will be selected automatically when you create a chart. This will be explained in the Reporting - Add Chart guide.
Next Steps:
Once you have named the report, selected the user and groups and the date range you are now ready to configure the Report Layout Settings.
