'Catapult AMS' iCloud Calendar
When a user gives permission for the AMS Mobile Application to synchronise with their Apple mobile device's calendar, a new calendar called "AMS" will be created containing the events from their individual Catapult AMS calendar. The calendar created is an iCloud Calendar. Apple requires this type of calendar so that if the user has multiple Apple devices (e.g. iPad, Macbook, iWatch etc.) the calendar will sync across these devices.
Calendar Sync Failure Issue
At present, if a user repeatedly sees a "Calendar Sync Failure" error, the only way to resolve the issue is to Sign Out of iCloud on the device affected.
Our developers are seeking a resolution with Apple.
Signing Out of iCloud
Before signing out of iCloud, always check that your software is up-to-date.
To check, tap Settings > General > Software Update. If you are able to update your software, perform the update and once your device is using the latest version, check the AMS App again to see if the iCloud sync issue is still occurring.
To Sign Out of iCloud on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch, tap Settings > Apple ID (your name at the top of the menu)> scroll down and tap Sign Out, then tap Sign Out to confirm. Following this, Sign In to iCloud again.
